LessonUp

Teacher presenting a LessonUp interactive lesson to students in a classroom

LessonUp is an interactive lesson platform that enables teachers to create, share and teach engaging lessons. Trusted today by over 40,000 teachers daily, with nearly 3 million lessons in its library.

The Challenge

Ten years ago, digital classroom boards were transforming education. But creating high-quality, engaging digital lessons was hard and time-consuming. The challenge was building a product that made lesson creation simple and intuitive. This while fostering a community of teachers sharing and inspiring each other, and maintaining consistently high content quality across a growing library.

Value Added

Served as Scrum Master and UX designer on the first version of the product, leading user research and shaping the experience from the ground up. Applied design thinking to translate an early-stage concept into a platform teachers genuinely wanted to use. Balancing community features, content quality and ease of use. What started as an internal project grew into a successful, independent company, and was later recognised as one of the Top 100 Tools for Learning globally.
